That’s how everything seems to be going. I heard back from EDAW yesterday and they offered me a position as a landscape designer. Great news, but I have to start August 1st. Which means I have two weeks to get my life in order. Blech. I get 10 vacation days…which I will have to save up for things like bachelorette parties and such, health benefits (very good since I am off the healthcare grid at the moment…. Mike is shaking his head as he reads this with daddy as a doctor), I also get all the retirement biznatch. I wont post my new salary online, but it is right in the ballpark of what I was asking… a good amount for the south. I haven’t yet figured out the logistics of my move, but I think it will just be me and good old dad going down, Brian being a working man.
On the wedding planning front I am pleased to say that I have my tasting today at the Danversport Yacht Club (ceremony and reception site). It’s me B and the two moms. We’ll see if I like any of the stuff they put in front of me… I will of course pass along all things fishy and grosse to Brian. Tomorrow I think mom and I are going to try on dresses for the first time. I have to get the ball rolling asap. My afternoon today will be spent searching for photographers and florists on line.
